On 29th and 30th March 2019 RESEO and Curso de Musica Silva Monteiro invite you to Porto for two days of exploration, discussion and presentations uncovering how we can combine science and arts when working with children and young people.
RESEO has been collaborating with partners across Europe on the SPACE Erasmus Plus project, exploring how to use arts methods and techniques to bring science to life for children in the classroom. The methodology around STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) education has been developed in USA and is starting to be explored in Europe.
RESEO finds the partnership between arts and sciences to be a rich and exciting one, offering not only a new way to approach classroom teaching, but also inspiration for imaginative exploration. This is a great tool to use with young people.
Over this two day symposium, RESEO invites arts education practitioners to the beautiful city of Porto and offers the opportunity to explore the sciences through arts practice and to discover the outcomes of the SPACE project.
