Orchestre national d’Ile de France

Music Everywhere and For Everyone

The 95 permanent musicians of the Orchestra give a hundred concerts per season.

Aims:

The Orchestra stands out by its willingness and commitment to sharing its passion for symphonic legacy and placing it within the reach of all. It imagines and develops creative educational activities that place the child at the heart of the educational project.

A flagship project:

Chantons et Jouons avec l’Orchestre: for one year, non-musicians and budding instrumentalists work on a musical repertoire and perform in concert with the Orchestra. The choirs rehearse the pieces weekly and then take part in piano repetitions and group singing.
At the end of the school year, the young music lovers prepare a concert with ONDIF as part of a dress rehearsal. A unique experience for these young artists.

Why we are members of RESEO:

In order to share issues related to arts education and the transmission of a cultural aesthetic at European level, but also to discover innovative projects and initiate collaborations between cultural organisations.
