On 24 June, XOGA will bring a remarkable evening of opera, song and dance to Omnibus Theatre (London, UK).
Their opening is themed around legendary Shakespearean couples – Ophelia and Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and more. In the second half of the evening, Gloria and Labarta, a Galician couple with a story every bit as resonant as Shakespeare’s many star-crossed lovers, follow a similar tragic path. Their story comes from a Galician opera ‘O Arame’ (The Tightrope) by Juan Durán and librettist, Manuel Lourenzo.
