RESEO is proud to announce the 2024 edition of the Best Opera for Young Audiences Award in partnership with YAM.
Since 2008, the YAMawards, powered by JM International, have recognised excellence in the field of live musical productions for young audiences.
About the RESEO Prize for Best Opera
The Best Opera award is attributed to new works for young audiences of all ages, based upon new librettos (adaptations of existing stories are accepted) or new compositions.
Productions are selected by an international jury of opera professionals who take into account music and performance quality, relevance, audience communication and the works’ international potential.

YAMawards Ceremony & YAMsession
The winners will be announced at the YAMawards Ceremony on the 17 September, 2024, during the YAMsession in Bodø, Norway (16- 18 September). YAMsession is an annual international music conference, which includes showcases, a live producers’ forum, talks and networking between creative professionals working in the field of young audiences’ music development from more than 30 countries.
