The non-profit Cultural Association Miso Music Portugal, recognized as a Public Utility, is a center for the creation, development, and promotion of inventive music. Its mission is to foster the national and international circulation of ideas and values, as well as musical and multidisciplinary creations and performances, that stimulate and promote the art created here and now.
Aims
Foster innovation in music research and performance, promote Portuguese musical heritage and contemporary creation, enhance international networks, and provide educational programmes, especially for children, in order to widely disseminate inventive music.
A flagship project
A Laugh to Cry is a scream for freedom against tyranny, against the omnipresence of arrogance and injustice, against oppression, against the destruction of art.
