The FEDORA Prizes, including the Education Prize awarded in partnership with RESEO, aim to highlight and support bold and innovative new work in opera and ballet. Yesterday, FEDORA announced the 2021 shortlist in a virtual event streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
The RESEO jury, led by founding member Bernard Foccroulle, selected the following projects for the 2021 Education Prize shortlist:
- Dance training for people with a disability – Platform K (BE)
- Carmen and the other extraordinary women – L’Albero (IT)
- Synapses – The point of contact – Wexford Festival Opera (IE)
- UTOPERAS – a participatory youth opera in series format – Wiener Staatsoper (AT)
- Dalia – A Community Opera – Garsington Opera (UK)
- ARCADIA – Academy for Music & Theater in Silesia – Academia Ars Augusta (DE)
- Pitch, please ! – Opéra Orchestre National de Montpellier Occitanie (FR)
- We are musicians – Stara Zagora State Opera (BG)
- Pocket Opera – Royal Swedish Opera (SE)
- A song – a life – Den Jyske Opera (DK)
