Congratulations to the recipients of the Europe and Beyond mobility grant!

Europe and Beyond is an international mobility programme aimed at expanding and diversifying the scope, ambition and impact of performing arts education across the European continent. The programme provides financial assistance enabling organisations and professionals based in selected countries to participate in RESEO activities while increasing the network’s geographical and cultural diversity.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the following practitioners to the RESEO Conference 2025:

Nejla Žunić (Bosnia and Herzegovina) – Musician and educator, akustikUm

Nejla Žunić is a violinist and researcher focusing on music theory, pedagogy, and inclusivity. She has participated in numerous intercultural projects and conferences, exploring the relationship between professional and amateur musical development. As a member of akustikUm – Muzička omladina JMBH, she is committed to fostering accessibility and collaboration in music practice.

Iryna Vakulina (Ukraine) – Co-founder and conductor, Lviv Children’s Orchestra

Iryna Vakulina is a conductor and co-founder of the Tempo Music Center and the Lviv Kids Orchestra, where she is principal conductor. She has collaborated with leading orchestras in Ukraine, Poland, and Germany, and directed award-winning projects such as Family Concerts at the Lviv National Philharmonic. Her work bridges artistic production, education, and safeguarding, with a focus on accessibility for children and families.

Evgeniya Melkonyan (Ukraine) – Workshop leader in movement and voice practices

Evgeniya Melkonyan is a performer, singer, and facilitator with Ukrainian and Armenian roots, working at the intersection of folklore, ritual, and healing practices. Her projects explore voice, movement, and performative research in relation to trauma, mental health, and cultural traditions, with performances across Europe. She is a member of Nomadic Dance Collective and currently develops new solo and collaborative works while leading trauma-informed workshops in voice and movement.

Evica Taseska Karanfilova (Macedonia) – Programme Director, Macedonian Opera and Ballet

Evica Taseska Karanfilova is Program Manager at the National Opera and Ballet in Skopje, where she oversees artistic programme development and audience engagement. With a background in art history, archaeology, and international management, she has extensive experience in marketing, project management and cultural institution leadership. Her career bridges visual and performing arts, with a strong focus on cultural management in North Macedonia.

The following organisations and arts workers were awarded a fee waiver for the RESEO Conference 2025:

  • Andriano Marian (Moldova) – Founder and Artistic Director, Chisinau Youth Orchestra
  • Draško Adžić (Montenegro) – Composer and performer
