RESEO’s Europe and Beyond programme aims to expand and diversify the scope and ambition and impact of performing arts education across the European continent. The programme provides financial assistance enabling organisations and professionals based in selected countries to participate in RESEO activities, such as the network’s annual conference. For the 2026 edition, we’re delighted to welcome the following practitioners to Brussels for the RESEO Conference 2026:
Evgenia Marchuk (Ukraine), Composer, musician, educator and cultural organiser
Evgenia Marchuk is a Ukrainian composer, pianist, organist, teacher and cultural organiser. She is General Director of the International Festival of Academic Music “Musical Imprezas of Ukraine” and founder and head of the NGO ImprezaTerra, supporting Ukrainian professional music, emerging artists and international cultural and educational projects. In 2023, she launched The Power of Music, a music therapy project providing emotional support to children, military personnel and vulnerable communities.
Mehmet Arslanboğa (Turkey), Musicologist, researcher and educator, Musicist
Dr Mehmet Arslanboğa is a musicologist, researcher, educator and cellist whose work focuses on ethnomusicology, music education and musical cultures. He contributes to the NGO Musicist and its initiatives to expand access to high-quality music education for children and educators in rural communities, as well as to the Musicist Institute and Musicist Academic Journal. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Musicology at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University’s Turkish Music State Conservatory.
Tanja Mijatovic (Serbia), Music theorist, educator and researcher, MOTO
Tanja Mijatovic is a Belgrade-based music theorist, educator and researcher working with Music, Opera and Theatre Organisation (MOTO). Her work spans project development, cultural production and education, contributing to new approaches to the production, presentation and accessibility of music, opera and theatre. Her research explores music analysis, narrative, style and intertextuality, with a wider interest in sustainable and accessible models for contemporary cultural practice.
Maja Bosnić (Serbia), Composer and Artistic Director, University of Arts in Belgrade/Association Zabuna
Maja Bosnić is a composer working across instrumental, electronic and multimedia practices. She is Assistant Professor of Composition at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade, and Artistic Director of Association Zabuna. Her work has been presented at major festivals across Europe, Asia and the Americas and performed by leading international ensembles. Exploring absurdity, constraint, participation and unexpected outcomes, her practice frequently challenges conventional relationships between instruments, objects, performers and audiences.
Burcu Yılmaz Deniz (Turkey), Curator, performer and inclusive experience design expert, A Corner in the World
Burcu Yılmaz Deniz is a curator, performer, trainer and inclusive experience design expert with more than 20 years of experience in the cultural sector. She is co-founder and co-director of A Corner in the World and a member of the Advisory Committee of IETM and the International Inclusive Arts Network. Her recent work focuses on inclusive, sensory-aware and participatory performing arts experiences for audiences and communities with diverse needs. Through artistic collaborations, training and awareness-raising, she contributes to developing more inclusive approaches to performing arts in Türkiye and internationally.
