RESEO Conference 2022

In partnership with the Opéra Comique and Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, with thanks to the team at the Éducation et Ressources department of the Philharmonie de Paris.

When RESEO was founded in 1996, the main objective of education departments was to bring increasingly diverse audiences to opera houses and cultural institutions. Twenty-five years later, our network seeks to underline the importance and relevance of inclusive, participatory projects that take into account the way society has evolved.

RESEO brings together institutions and artists with increasingly diverse profiles and a strong focus on developing participatory work. Nowadays, arts education professionals develop projects that raise questions about cross-cutting social issues, such as climate change, digital inclusion, local communities and the role of young artists in cultural outreach.

The RESEO Conference 2022 aims to reflect the aims and diversity of its membership base. Hosted by three major cultural institutions in Paris, it will explore new ways of approaching participation in outreach work and how the latter interact with local social ecosystems through roundtable discussions, debates, presentations and practical workshops. We look forward to welcoming many of you there!
