Garsington Opera

Garsington Opera runs a bold, ambitious, and inclusive participatory programme which provides communities of all ages, both locally and internationally, with access to the highest quality opera, professional artists, and free digital resources, under the banner of GO Participate.

Aims

GO Participate aims to enrich people’s lives through opera: sharing our passion and love of opera with a wider audience and helping to demystify this wonderful and varied genre for those who would not normally have access to it. Our programme offers opportunities for everyone to explore their creativity and get involved in both production and expressive arts.

A Flagship Project

• GO Create, which introduces young people to the world of opera.
• Our community operas give local community members the opportunity to perform on Garsington’s main stage.
• Mind the Gap, in partnership with RESEO. It was incredibly beneficial for GO Participate to be a partner on this project. We were able to share practice and explore GO’s place in the ever-evolving digital world.

Why they’re RESEO members

Meeting and collaborating with RESEO members is inspiring and thought-provoking. It’s a great place to troubleshoot, share ideas and learn from other like-minded groups.
