The Creative Ways to Mozart Project (CWM) was a collaboration between opera houses and youth culture organisations to engage young people creatively with Mozart and his operas. Working with artists, teachers and young people from across the continent, the partner organisations exchanged, compared, brainstormed, documented and, above all, produced ways to make Mozart come alive for young people 250 years after his birth. CWM offered 136.000 young people across Europe a range of creative ways to Mozart from the production of a rap opera called, Hip H’opera, to interactive workshops on the composer’s best-known works. Creative Ways to Mozart was the subject of a highly praised bilingual (English/French) publication, which documents all aspects of the project in 64 full-colour pages.
